Daddy got a new Wii game that is a cooking game. Safina LOVES this game and asks daddy to play it all the time. She doesn't do anything but watch and tell him what to do, but she loves it! So it is cute that they do this together. She gets very excited about it! We also worked on the nursery and Safina "helped" daddy!

What a week! We hung out with our friends William and Madelyn, they had so much fun together, and were so cute hugging goodbye! We also celebrated Gigi and Great Grandpa's birthdays! Safina LOVED the cake!
Week of August 15th, 2011
Safina is on vacation with Gigi this week! We check in everyday and it sounds like she is having a blast! Can't wait to hug her and hear all about her trip! Meanwhile Daddy and I hung out together and shopped, and had some fun! We went to nice dinners and up to the cottage! I had a blast taking pictures at my leisure! So I took a little nature walk around the cottage! We miss our girl, but we loved the break!
Gigi shared a little story with me from their trip. I guess Safina fell and skinned her knee and it started bleeding a little bit, and she looked up at Gigi and says "Oh no Gigi, boo boo, Oh no, there's jelly coming out of my knee!" Of course everyone around cracked up. My sweet girl!
Week of August 22nd, 2011
Last week (before Safina left for her trip), we went to Uncle Kyle and Aunt Sarah's House Warming Party! Zach was there (Sarah's nephew) and the two of them played so nicely! Safina was just following him around! At one point they put on the Kan Jam Cans and were running around saying "We're black ghosts!" It was pretty hysterical.
Safina is on a big art kick, so we have been doing lots of painting, cutting, and ink stamping!
S: "When the baby comes out I am going to tell it 'baby, what’s your name?'”
Week of August 29th, 2011
What a week! Daddy bought a new car! Like a brand new car, it only had 8 miles on it! After that we went to the zoo and hung out!
I am loving the conversations we've been having lately. The things they come up with!
M: "Safina you are such a good girl!"
S: "Awww shucks!"
(She uses the "Awww Shucks" all the time too, way too funny!)
S: "Mom Mom can I watch Little Einsteins when I get home?"
M: "Maybe"
S: "I don't like maybe!"
Where do they get this stuff?
My favorite of the week: We were painting one morning, and she is focusing real hard, and looks up at me and says "This one is for Grandpa J. He's my best friend. I love him!" I about died! She is the sweetest thing!
Ok, one more!
We were in the car one day and she held her hands out like she was holding something and goes "look mommy, I have an email for you" I busted out laughing!
