Daddy was home with us today. Mommy got a pedicure with Gigi which was awesome! We had a quiet morning, then ran a few errands. We had a meeting in the afternoon while Safina napped. Then another quick errand and it was set up time for the Pampered Chef Party! Mommy had so much fun with her friends and Ida did a great job! We also wish our friend Jamie a Happy Birthday! Safina is still not feeling so great... poor thing!
Day 324: October 2, 2010
Daddy had to work today, so we hung out at home. We had a house showing at 10am, so Safina and I went for a walk. She found a stick, a leaf and a rock. We also saw pumpkins, ghosts, and owls. After our walk we ran into the neighbors, and we played in the leaves with them. The kids had such a great time! Safina and I did an arts and crafts hour and painted white paper shaped pumpkins with orange paint then gave them stems. In the afternoon we finally picked up Daddy's car! Then went to dinner at Tully's.
Day 325: October 3, 2010
Safina loves hanging out on our bed, which is so fun. We read books or just jump on the pillows and have tickle wars. I just love having that time with her. So as I am folding laundry today, she says "bed, up". So I throw her up and she snuggles in among the pillows and she says "Sissy sleeping, shhhh". The she jumps up and says "I awake!" Then she lays down again and pretends snores, then jumps up "I awake!". LOVE IT!
Then later we are reading on the couch and all the sudden she yells "BOAT" which made me laugh b/c it was the first time she has every asked for it, but it means lets sing Row Row Row your Boat. So we did that a few times. She loves when we do the fast version!
Day 326: October 4, 2010
"Achoo" When I try to get Safina to blow her nose, she won't blow. She simply says "Achoo" into the kleenex. Today we stayed home and just tried to get better. I am feeling much better, but Safina still has a runny nose. We had a busy day though, we baked two pies and homemade chicken nuggets, along with spaghetti squash. Everything turned out really good. Safina also hid in the kitchen cabinet and would say "Where Sissy?" Then she would pop out and say "I found it". She is so stinkin' cute!
Day 327: October 5, 2010
See how she twirls her hair. She does it mostly when she is drinking from her sippy cup. But see how she does it... that's me! I don't know if it is genetic, but I totally did this when I was little and even as I got older (ok fine, guilty, I probably still do it occasionally). But it makes me smile every time I see her do this.
Today we went to a birthday party at Chuck E Cheese's. Safina had a blast, once she figured out what was going on. She is still a bit young for it, but she had a great time! Then we came home and had a nice family night, playing together. She was "cooking" for us, and I asked for some tea, and she said "Sure, with sugar!" HA, Tony and I about died from laughing!
Day 328: October 6, 2010
Playgroup at our house this morning! We had a special craft, but I can't share since they are christmas presents! So excited about it though! It was kind of a mad house, lots of kiddos! But we had a blast. I love this picture Jamie took (so I stole it).
After a lazy afternoon we joined Uncle Andrew and Aunt Janet for dinner at Frog Hair. It was really yummy. Safina did so well playing while the big people talked! She loved seeing her Uncle and Aunt! After we left she kept saying "Bye Andrew, Bye Janet, thank you, kisses, fun, bye!" It was so cute.
Day 329: October 7, 2010
Today we headed to Gianna and Kenadee's house for a little outside fun! The girls had a ball playing on Gianna's new playset! Then we had a yummy lunch of noodle soup and grilled cheese!
Later on we hung out at home while daddy worked another long day! Safina and I read her new library books (I love the way she says Library, but I can't figure out how to spell it the way she says it). She loves reading the new books. We try to go once a week to pick out new ones!

Mommy mowed the lawn today and saw way more spiders then she cared to. Safina played at Gigi's for the morning, and had a fabulous time! Later on we headed to Uncle Sam's and Aunt Laurel's for some chili and hockey! We had a great time! Safina loves chasing all the doggies, and all the attention she gets from her adopted Aunts and Uncles!

Early riser today. Miss Safina just didn't want to sleep. So I brought her into bed with me. She layed with me for a few minutes, and I could feel the eyes on me. All the sudden I feel a finger poking my ear and a little "momma ear" "one ear", she reaches around my head "two ear". God is she cute! So we snuggled and talked and tickled. It was a magical little moment! Maybe I was savoring it b/c I know I am leaving for the weekend in a couple hours, and I am going to miss my peanut. Off to Ithaca for Cousin Martin's wedding! ROAD TRIP!
Day 332: October 10, 2010
A restless night, but a super fun day! We headed out to find a few waterfalls and did a little hike. Down 110 stairs then back up! Yikes I am out of shape! We ate a quick lunch, then we headed back to our rented cottage to get ready for the wedding. The wedding was beautiful. I loved all the details, decorations and colors. Not to mention the awesome Sangria and the "panty dropper" drinks! We had a great night of dancing with our family! Congratulations Martin and Courtney!

Day 333: October 11, 2010
I did not sleep well again. No shock. We joined the family for breakfast and had a nice visit, then headed back to Buffalo! We had a great time in the car, chatting and being silly. We got home around 3pm, and I raced in to give my little girl hugs and kisses! I think she grew 10 inches and learned 50 new words! I missed her so much! We had dinner then an early bed, since Safina didn't take a nap.

Playgroup at our house this morning. We had a great time playing with our friends. After nap, we headed to the grocery store! Not a very exciting day, but a nice day to get back into life as we know it!

Day 335: October 13, 2010
Today we played at our friend Malloy's house! We had such a nice time. Then we headed home to pick up daddy for a family lunch date! I love when we get to go out to lunch and enjoy each others company and have fun! We went to the Cheesecake Factory, and had a really yummy lunch! Then we walked around the mall for a little bit, and checked out Pottery Barn Kids (Safina loves playing in there). Then headed to Payless to grab a pair of shoes! We also checked out the sleep number beds, Safina had a ball jumping on the beds. I am sure the salesman hated us! After Safina's nap we met up with Tony's aunt and her family at the tennis courts on Grand Island and everyone played tennis while I chased Safina around. We had a nice time, it was a beautiful night!
Day 336: October 14, 2010
We ventured to the gym this morning for the first time in a week or two, due to colds and an out of town wedding. Mommy tried Zumba today. I am so not coordinated, but it was fun, and definitely a good workout. Safina had a rough time in the childcare, but I think she will be fine, once she gets used to it again. Then we headed to the Audubon library! What a nice library. We picked out lots of new books, and two movies!
Day 337: October 15, 2010
Yesterday Daddy needed some extra sleep time, so Safina and I went to the gym. When it was time to go she didn't want to leave. Then we ran to the store, so we could get a few staples we ran out of. We headed home with some doughdough's for Daddy (and Sissy). That is what Safina calls donuts. She was very excited to share with Daddy! We hung out around the house, then took Safina to Gigi's before heading to Rochester for opening night at Rich and Kristin's new theater. Daddy and Mommy had a great date night, and really enjoyed the movie RED and supporting our friends!
Day 338: October 16, 2010
Safina was at Gigi's this morning so Mommy had a lot to get done. We have a showing for the house this afternoon, so I cleaned from top to bottom. The house is spotless! I also baked chocolate chip cookie dough cupcakes. So yummy! Then little miss came back home and we hung out for a quick bit, then off to naptime! After nap we went to Target and then dinner with Andrew, Janet, Sarah, Kyle and Clio! We had a great time visiting.
Day 339: October 17, 2010
What a busy day! We started off at Kelkenberg Farm for hayrides, pony rides, pumpkin hunting, and animal chasing! Not to mention playing with our friends and drinking warm apple cider! Safina loves the animals, she was clucking at the chickens, and gobbling at the turkeys. She loved the goats too! She was so intrigued with the horses that pulled the hayride. She did great on the pony ride, although half way through she goes "all done". I managed to talk her into staying on till the end. We had a great time. Then we headed home for a quick refuel, then we headed to Green Lake in Orchard Park. I had two photoshoots so Tony and Safina hung out and played while I worked. (We had an open house at home so they couldn't stay there). What a busy day!

We had a great time at our buddy Corbin's today! I got to snuggle with Kenadee and we did a fun craft with the kiddos. Pretty low key afternoon, and then Mommy went out for martinis with some friends from the mom's group! So much fun!

Safina and I went to the gym this morning. Mommy did her zumba class while Miss Safina had a blast with the kids in the childcare. Afterwards we went home and read books. Then when Safina went down for a nap, Mr. Rex (9 weeks old) came over while his mommy and sister ran errands. I got to snuggle with him for a few hours, so fun! Love the little babies! After nap, we went to the library to get new books, then to the dollar store to get some stuff for halloween costumes. It was so cute, we would walk around and Safina would tap her lip and go "what else". Then she would randomly point to something and go "THIS"! It was so funny! Love this kid!
Day 342: October 20, 2010
We had a wonderful morning at a birthday party for our buddy Brooke! The party was at toddle town, and the kids had a ball! I would find Safina every 15/20minutes sitting next to the cupcakes going "cupcakes... eat". So I would have to distract her until I would find her there again! Little Gianna even tattled on her once, it was so funny! On the way home I was teaching Safina how to pronounce her last name. She is close, but she says "LaDodo". Too funny! After nap we went to the gym and then came home and read library books.

We went to the gym this morning, then I had two photoshoots this afternoon. Safina went down for a nap. When she got up, she kept saying "Baby crying" so she must have heard the baby. It was too cute, she was very concerned.

Daddy was home with us today. We had so much fun. We went grocery shopping, baked cute skeleton cupcakes for our annual pumpkin party, and set up for the party. Safina loves having time with her daddy!

Yay! Today is our 4th Annual Pumpkin Carving Party. I love this party, it is so much fun. We did the baked potato bar again this year and I had made fun labels for most of the food and drinks, so there were toasted troll feet (baked potatoes), witches brew (iced tea), love potion #9 (pink lemonade), devils cocktail (wine), clear potion (water), poison (beer), poison apple bites (mini caramel apples), petrified fish (pretzel goldfish), and pumpkin teeth (candy corn). We had a blast and it was total chaos as usual! The kids are getting so big and running all over! What a fun day!

Road Trip to Rochester! We headed out to Megan and Rob's this morning to meet baby Evan and do a photoshoot. Then after that fun visit we headed to Aubree and Chris's to play with the boys and to do a family photoshoot. We had a delicious lunch and a nice visit! Then we stopped by Mike & Jen's to drop something off and visit for a quick bit, but Ryan wasn't feeling well, so we didn't stay long. Back on the road to home, and then bed! What a day! We are tired, but had a great time visiting friends!

We have tried really hard to make sure Safina was taught and uses her manners from day one! So when out of the blue I get "Thank you Mommy" I about died! I never told her to add the mommy part on, so that is her being a sweet adorable little girl! My heart melts each time she tells me!
This afternoon we had our buddy William and his sister Madelyn over to play! They get along so well and have so much fun when they are together! I didn't tell Safina that they were coming over, but some how she knew. She woke up from her nap and was like "William play?" and I was like, uh yes he is coming over, how did you know!?! Such a smart girl!

Safina loves dancing! One of her shows on tv does a little dance segment, and she loves trying to imitate them. The whole time she just says "dance, fun!" so cute! She is also starting to imitate or play pretend. So she will say "Safina, Monkey" and then act like a monkey, it is so funny! She also want's to do everything herself, so we hear "Safina try, I try" and then a frustrated girl will yell "HEEEELLLPP" "Mommy do it". She makes me giggle!

Yay, what a fun surprise! Aunt Janice and Aunt Yo came to visit! We had a lovely morning followed by a yummy lunch at My Tomato Pie! So good to catch up with the girls! Safina and I hung out the rest of the day. Just snuggled and had a dance party!
Safina has had a runny nose this past week so in order to get her to come over to me so I can wipe her nose I tell her I have a secret for her, so she comes over and I whisper "I love you" in her ear, and she giggles and I wipe her nose. So now she comes over to me and says "secret" then whispers noises in my ear. Oh how I love you, my sweet, sweet girl!

Mommy and Safina watched Gianna and Kenadee this morning while their mommy got some cleaning done. We also invited Malloy and Rex over to play (along with their mommy, Erin). We had a great chaotic morning with three adorable rambunctious toddlers and two adorable babies! After Jamie brought us some yummy lunch from cheeburger! So delicious! Thanks Jamie! The girls played so nicely together, and Safina loved helping with Kenadee, we were feeding her a bottle and Safina was asked to help, so she held the bottle, then looked at me and said "pancakes", I laughed and said, "no, Kenadee doesn't eat pancakes, but that is so sweet to offer them to her". Safina also wanted her buddies to sit by her, so she would say "Gianna, sit, bottom" and pat the seat next to her. So sweet!

Safina and mommy ran a few errands this morning. After nap we headed to Gianna's second birthday party! Yay! There were 5 little girls there in tutu's and it was the most adorable thing ever! We had a great time and Gianna got tons of great loot! Thanks for having us! After the party I dropped Safina off at Gigi's for a sleepover, while mommy and daddy went to Brian & Denise's annual Halloween party! Tony went as an Arctic Pirate (he had a pirate hat, patch, and hook, then put a penguin in his pocket, b/c we didn't have a parrot). I went as his "booty" (so I wore a crown, flashy earrings, and necklaces and carried a treasure chest with coins in it). We had a great time hanging out with our friends and just chilling!
Day 353: October 31, 2010
Gigi had Safina so Tony and I had a lazy morning. Then we headed to gigi's for dinner and they had a little bday celebration for me. I got beautiful roses and a cute card that Gigi and Safina made for me! After dinner we went Trick or Treating in Gigi's neighborhood. They have this little parade around the circle, then the kids go dashing to all the houses. Safina didn't get it at first, but after about 5 houses she started to catch on. She would say the cutest little "tricktreat" then just stare doe eyed at the people. They would give her candy and she would say "thankyou" or "thanks". Then as we were walking away she would say, "more house", she wanted to keep doing it. After about 15/20 houses, we get to the door and she just says "no, all done". So we stopped and headed back to Gigi's. She was so adorable! It was a really fun night!
