What a great weekend! We went up to the Root Cottage and spent three days playing in the sand and sun and hanging out with all of Mommy's cousins! Safina LOVED it and had a blast! It felt almost like old times when we were kids and were all up there at the same time! So magical! Hoping for many more times like that!
Week of July 5th, 2011
We are unwinding from a great weekend at the cottage! Safina spent Wednesday with Nonnie and her kiddos. They went to the aquarium and played outside! On friday we met up with our friends Ella and Gianna and went to Island Park Pool. The girls had a blast and it was a nice way to cool off for Mommy too! We had so much fun, Safina and I went back after nap! Saturday was Safina's 3rd Birthday! Our little girl is so big! Daddy had to work in the morning, so we just hung out and played with Safina's new Fisher Price Little People Barn that we gave her for her birthday! Then when Daddy came home we went to the pool again and had a really fun time! Then we picked up some Birthday Pizza for Safina's birthday dinner! We even sang Happy Birthday while she blew out her pizza! Sunday we had a family birthday party at our house and had an awesome time and Safina scored some great gifts! I think the adults had more fun with her gifts then she did! We are so in love with our little girl!
Week of July 11th, 2011
"Ta ta ta da" is the new response to everything she does. She will jump down and go "Ta ta ta da", or finish a puzzle and it's "Ta ta ta da!" too too cute! She is also loving being 3 years old! I told her she was having a friend bday party on Friday and we went over the days of the week and counted, so she will be like "Tuesday, Friday, Party! YAAAAY!" She had her friends party on friday, and they had a blast! She kept asking for another party!
Week of July 18th, 2011
Safina has been talking so much more! She is such a big girl! Becoming so independent and trying to help with everything. Here are some of the great things she has come up with this last week!
S: "I'm a secret pie mommy"
M: "do you mean spy? Are you a secret spy?"
S: "Yes, I am a secret spy!"
I ordered pizza for dinner and Safina was looking at the menu, and there is a picture of the pizza place on the front, and she goes: "Mommy, you go to pizza's house to pick it up?" LOL! I just love that she calls it pizza's house!
After visiting a store, we were walking through the parking lot:
M: "Safina you have to hold mommy or daddy's hand"
S: "I hold my own hand" and puts her hands together.
OH BOY! Such an independent little lady!
Week of July 25th, 2011
Uncle Andrew and Aunt Janet are getting married this weekend! We are so excited! Safina can't wait to go to the wedding and see the bride and groom get married! She also can't wait to DANCE DANCE DANCE!

CONGRATULATIONS MR. & MRS. ANDREW R!!! Uncle Andrew and Aunt Janet got married today! We had a blast! The weather was beautiful, everyone looked beautiful, and Safina danced her little heart out! She was going strong till 11pm! She was dancing with her eyes closed, but didn't want to leave!
