Day 535: May 1, 2011

Daddy had the morning off, but then had to work at the Expo in the afternoon. Uncle Kyle came over to play later on, and then we went to help pick up the Expo. Safina got two balloons out of it! She loves them! We also managed to get our D.A.D. pictures for Father's Day!

Day 536: May 2, 2011

Today we had to run a few errands, and one of them was to Toys R Us for a birthday present. When we pulled up Safina goes "oh a giraffe! The giraffe store!" It was too cute. Then the whole way home she was telling me how we went to the giraffe store to get Patrick a present!

"I love my kitty" (the poor tortured kitty, but she really does love her!)

So I am having a hard time keeping up with the day to day, so I am going to try weekly! This week Daddy had car trouble, so Safina and I were stuck at home most of the week. We got a little restless, but were able to get outside a little bit, and color with chalk and blow bubbles, ride our bike, and roller blade! She also picked me daisy's and gave them to me (so sweet)! We also got a trip in to Restore and found a dresser for Safina that Daddy is refinishing and painting to match the rest of her furniture. Saturday we celebrated Mother's Day at Andrew and Janet's where Kyle and Sarah also helped prepare an awesome meal for Mom and I! We had a great visit, and lots of fun! The next day was Mother's Day and Mommy got a pre-natal massage (which she can't wait to use) and a handprint tile from Safina. We ran a bunch of errands and got to hang out with Daddy all day, which was nice. Then we met up with Tony's family for dinner and had a nice visit.

We have our car back and beautiful weather, so we are keeping busy this week! We went to the park and the zoo! We also decided to tear apart the backyard and redo our flower/plant beds. So we spend a lot of times outside enjoying the weather and getting super muddy! Safina also got a new water table, and she loves playing with it! She especially loves the little animals that came with it! Safina spent the night at Gigi's on Saturday which gave mommy and daddy a date night and a nice relaxing evening! Thanks Gigi!

Rain, Rain go away! What a yucky cold week! We went to the gym a few days, and ran errands, but mostly just stuck around home. I love when we are driving and we get to a red light Safina says "wait for green, green means go!" It is so cute, my little backseat driver! The other night I was putting her to bed and we forgot doggy downstairs so she says "mommy get doggy please?" and I reply "yes I will" then she goes "promise?" HAHAHAH where do they get this stuff! We had a really busy weekend and one day Safina was not feeling well, so we stayed low key. But not even 10 hours later she was jumping around and back to her old self.

We had a rough day on Monday so daddy took Safina to run some errands in the evening to give mommy a break. Safina was SO excited to hang out with daddy, and said she wanted to ride the horsey, which we figured out means sit on daddy's shoulders! She had a blast hanging out with daddy! Big week for baby ladota! We had our ultrasound to find out the sex of the baby! Can't wait for the big reveal at the Gender Party in a week! We had dinner with Grandma one night, a busy day running errands with Gigi, and an awesome wedding shower for Andrew and Janet, followed by dinner at Nonnie and Pappap's! Sunday we headed to Letchworth for Kenadee's first birthday! Yay! Happy Birthday sweet girl!

Happy Memorial Day! We had a lazy/busy morning around the house, then after Safina's nap we headed to Brian and Denise's for a party. We had a great time, and Safina loved playing with all the doggies! The rest of the week was very low key, a couple photo shoots and some visits to the gym. We went out to dinner one night with Daddy, and had a nice visit. Our little lady is getting so grown up, and is so sweet! She loves giving us random hugs and saying "I love my Mommy/Daddy"! and we love her!
