April Fools Day! We didn't play any tricks today. I wasn't paying close enough attention, and the day slipped by me! Oh well! We did get to spend some time with Daddy today! We ran a few errands then had lunch at Bill Grays!
Day 506: April 2, 2011
We made cupcakes for Uncle Kyle for when he came over today to play for a little bit and to help Mommy with her website (after Safina went to bed). It was great to spend time with him, and Safina loved being chased and playing soccer.
We have also renamed the kitty. We called her kitty or kitty kitty, and it got shortened to kiki! So that is her new name!
Day 507: April 3, 2011
"I love my..." fill in the blank. She loves her Mommy, Daddy, Kiki, milk, toys, doggy, you name it! She will pretend to read a book, and this is usually what the book "says". She is such a lovey little girl, and I love that! When daddy got home they had a little tea party!
Day 508: April 4, 2011
I love watching her play! Today she lined up her doggies and was feeding them. At gymnastics today during free time, Safina was attempting the monkey bars. She would get to the second bar and hang for a second then drop down. She would then lift her arms and go "TA DA" with a huge grin on her face, then climb the stairs to do it all again! My sweet baby girl is growing up too fast! She couldn't be more adorable!

"Whadda Mess!" is her new catch phrase! She will dump something out or accidentally spill something and just go "whadda mess!" At least she cleans it up after!

Yay! Happy 2nd Birthday Malloy! Safina and I went to Malloy's for her Art Birthday Party! What a great time! The kids painted little piggy banks, played with balloons, ate super delicious rainbow colored cake balls, and then painted a big canvas together! It was so fun, and the girls had a blast!
Day 511: April 7, 2011
What a fun Mother/Daughter outing today! We ventured to East Aurora, and went to the Fisher Price Store, and bought some friends their birthday presents. Then we went to Vidlers and walked around and I got her a small bag of penny candy! Then we went to the Toyloft, followed by Taste for some lunch! We capped off the busy morning with a quick visit to Hamlin Park, then headed home for nap! What a great day, but Mommy is exhausted!
Day 512: April 8, 2011
We watched our buddy Rex this morning! Safina was so good with him (not to mention he is such a great baby). I know Safina is going to be a great big sister! Daddy also started painting Safina's BIG GIRL ROOM! So we would go and check on him every so often, and Safina would just be in awe, saying "Daddy paint Cena's Room, so pretty, thanks daddy!" What a sweetie.
Gigi joined us for dinner and then we headed down to the Birchfield Penny Art Gallery with her and Uncle Kyle and Aunt Sarah. Safina did really well and when I explained we look at the art with our eyes, not our hands, she would stand in front of the art and poke her eyes with her fingers, or she would close her eyes and get really close to the art. It was hysterical. I wanted to take a picture, but you weren't allowed to use a camera. After that we treated ourselves to some ice cream or "i-cream".
Day 513: April 9, 2011
One of Safina's favorite books is The Very Hungry Caterpillar! She is so cute when we read it, and finishes the sentences, and loves counting the holes in the different fruit. I also love how she calls it a "coon" instead of a cocoon. She also loves our frog book, and will scream out all the different ribbits with me. So darn cute!

Beautiful day! We played outside and mommy worked on the garden. Mommy's friend Jill came to visit while Safina was napping, then we went out to dinner when daddy got home. We had a great visit! Safina kept asking, "Where Jilly go?" after she left!

We just hung out at home today. Trying to get over Safina's cold. We are getting tired of being stuck in the house... we need to get out! Hopefully the weather will get nice soon! Aunt Janet stopped by at Safina's bedtime to help me decorate the fun cupcakes for Uncle Andrew's birthday! We had a great time, even though the red birds didn't look right!

Happy Birthday Uncle Andrew! YAY!! Safina loves birthday parties, especially the cake or cupcakes! We made fun Angry Bird Cupcakes for Andrew! We had a great visit, and Safina ate three, yes three, helpings of dinner! I am shocked! Then she helped Uncle Andrew blow out his candles!
Day 518: April 14, 2011
Photoshoot this morning! Safina had a blast chasing Nolan around! They were so cute. I was doing maternity pics, and we did the measuring tape around the mommy-to-be's belly, and Safina was watching. When we were done, Safina took the tape and was putting it around her belly, it was too cute!
For dinner we went to Uncle Sam and Aunt Laurel's for pizza and the Sabres game! Safina loves chasing all the doggies around! We had a blast, and enjoyed our friends! On our way to their house I asked Safina what daddy's first name was, and she replied "Doctor"!
Day 519: April 15, 2011
Safina went to play with her buddies William and Madelyn, while mommy went to the doctors! She had a blast! Then went down for a late nap. Quiet evening at home. We had a busy week, and a busy weekend coming.
Day 520: April 16, 2011
We went to the gym this morning for the first time in a few months! We pulled into the parking lot and Safina says "Safina's gym"! So she was good about going to daycare! Afterwards we went to the mall to hit Old Navy's sale and walk around a bit. Safina got all kinds of new summer clothes! Lucky girl!
We headed to Jill and Dale's for dinner and the Sabres game. Safina loved meeting and playing with their doggy Maya! Boy does this kid love animals!
Day 521: April 17, 2011
Safina spent the morning with Gigi, then we headed to Rochester for a Easter Egg Hunt at Ryan & Makenzie's House! The kids had a blast, and got lots of loot! The dog at a slice of Safina's pizza so she kept saying "Abby ate my pizza" with a sad little face. Then after the Egg Hunt, they were playing with the plastic eggs, and Safina and Ryan kept taking them from each other. Safina made Ryan cry, so the whole way home she kept saying "Ryan sad, Cena took eggs". Then Safina wanted to hold Makenzie, and the whole time she said "Cena's Kenzie".

We had our ducts cleaned today, WOW what a difference. The house feels so much cleaner! Our little friend Ella came over to play as well. The girls hadn't seen each other in a long time, but they played so nice and had a great time!

Easter Egg Dying Playgroup at our house today! Lots of our little friends came over to play and dye Easter Eggs. They had a blast and Safina LOVED dying the eggs, but didn't like the way they tasted.

Quiet morning, not feeling the greatest. We watched the Princess Movie (Tangled) and had a really lazy day. During Safina's bath she looked up to me and said "Cena miss my daddy". He has been working a lot lately, and apparently she noticed. So sweet!

I had a photo shoot this morning for old high school friends, they just had their first baby and he was an adorable itty bitty! Safina kept wanting to hold him, and kept saying "oh so cute!, so sweet! baby colin" Then to keep her busy I got out playdoh and her new buddy Phil (and Katie (Colin's parents)) played with her, while I took pictures of the adorable little man snuggled up!

STYLE QUEEN!
"OWEN Pants" that is how my daughter says underpants! We are trying to get her into potty training, for a while now she was just throwing fits when I would put her on the toilet (little one, or big one). So we are starting slowly, and she does love wearing the underpants, so I think we will try potty training soon, and I think TREATS are going to be the way to go!

Easter at Gigi's! We spent the morning cleaning the house, then headed over to Gigi's for a yummy dinner and for a fun evening with the family! Safina loves her uncles and aunts! We love you all! Thanks for a fun time!

Happy Easter! We started the morning looking for Easter Eggs and her basket! Then we played for a little bit, before meeting up with Grandma at Church. After Church Grandma came over and we ate lots of food and played all day! What a lovely Easter!

While mommy was getting ready this morning, Safina found the heartrate monitor for the baby! She would put it on her tummy and go "bump bump bump" like she was listening to it. She is such a riot! After that we went to Oh-Clay-By-Me to make some Mother's Day gifts. Mommy even had Safina make her one! We had a fun time with our friends and we can't wait to see our fun creations!
Afterwards we were playing and one of the eyes fell off Safina's toy and she said "it's ok, daddy fixes eyes!" I couldn't believe she knew this! It was so adorable, I just laughed and gave her a big hug!
Day 530: April 26, 2011
We attempted the zoo today, but only got to spend 10 min there before the rain hit. So we went back to William & Madelyn's house and let the kiddos play!

Today we dropped the car off for an oil change then walked to Gianna and Kenadee's house to play while we waited. We had a fun time, and the girls loved being outside! The car ended up taking longer then we thought, so we had to stay till late in the afternoon. Thanks for letting us hang at your place Jamie!

We went to visit Great Grandma and Aunt Mary Jean today! What a fun visit and Safina had a blast! She danced for them, and ran, and did puzzles, and talked, it was so much fun and so good to see them! *Safina took this picture of great grandma!

Daddy worked in the morning, then came home to work on something for the Expo this weekend. After Safina's nap, we headed to Root Five to see Papa and Grandma Kathy! Daddy decided to come with us! We ended up staying for some dinner and got to see Uncle Kyle too! Safina is getting more comfortable with Papa now, and will run right up to him and give him big hugs, and go off on little walks with him! So cute!
Day 534: April 30, 2011
Today Safina got to go play with Gigi while Mommy helped at the Expo for daddy's work. Safina had a blast and took a great nap after! Just what mommy needed!
