Dr. Seuss Birthday playdate at Gianna's house today. We were supposed to wear a wacky outfit, but I wasn't that creative. We also brought a gift for the grab bag that had to be Dr. Seuss related. So we brought a betta fish that was red and blue to represent One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish. No one ended up wanting the fish (which is fine), so we have a new member in our house. His name is Zeus and Safina LOVES him! We told her after her nap we would go buy Zeus a bowl, so he could live with us, and all she kept saying while we hit the stores for our errands was, "Zeus needs a bowl". "Mommy, Zeus needs bowl". She was so excited! Now all she wants to do is feed him. She also loves showing him things that she is doing or eating! Too funny!

Introducing... Zeus! Safina's first pet!
Other then that it was another quiet day. Just hanging out at home! William and Madelyn came over to play this afternoon while Ida was doing a Pampered Chef show! We had so much fun, and Madelyn did great for being here without mom for the first time! Safina and William get along so nicely!

Daddy had off today, so we ran a few errands then had yummy breakfast at Pancake House. Safina is so cute, and loves spending time with her daddy! Daddy left tonight for a guys weekend trip to the Arnold Classic. So Mommy and Safina ordered Thai for dinner! Safina LOVED it. She kept asking for more, and just leaning towards me with her mouth open going "mmmm... awwww" Like feed me mom, now!

Woke up wanting to scrub the house down. So I cleaned, cleaned, cleaned. I also found out our vacuum does not suck anymore. Meaning we need a new vacuum. So hopefully we can get one soon! When daddy gets back we will go shopping!

Gigi had Safina over to play all day, so Mommy could clean for the House Showing at dinner time! Mommy also got to relax all day, and watched a movie! Then I joined Safina and Gigi for a little bit of playing at Gigi's then we had a lovely dinner at a Chinese restaurant. Yummy food and great company. We love spending time with Gigi!

Our buddies William and Madelyn came over to play this morning. They had a blast dancing and running around. Towards the end they were getting a little silly and Safina bumped William one too many times. After Safina's nap, she woke up asking "where my daddy go?" "where cena's daddy?" It was so cute. She also found a tuna fish coupon that I was clipping and kept saying "Look it's Zeus!" because there was a picture of a fish on the paper!

Happy Birthday to our buddy William!
Unfortunately Safina was up all night getting sick! Poor thing! She threw up 4 times, changed pajamas 4 times, took 3 baths, and ruined 2 beds! We didn't get much sleep, but at least she was feeling better by morning. Not really sure where it came from, maybe food poisoning. But we are going to lay low today and recover.

Feeling better today, but a very stubborn little girl. After telling me she was "hungry in her mouth" and nothing I suggested was acceptable, she was pretty whiny. So we ventured out to the grocery store to find some things she could eat, and to fill our cupboards. She also decided what to wear today... blue and pink polka-dot pajama bottoms, a pink thermal top with floral print, and her hot pink polka dot Hello Kitty rain boots! She was one stylish kiddo! After a few more tantrums at Wegmans we finally finished our shopping and went home for a quiet afternoon!

Playdate today, Safina had fun with her friends, but she is a little clingy after being sick. Poor thing! Another late night for daddy, Safina misses her daddy! We had some fun playing in the tub tonight! We were sorting our letters by color!

We played at our friend Malloy's house today. It was nice to get out of the house. After the playdate we came home and hung out with Daddy.

Today we had our friends over to play and Daddy was hanging out too! At one point Malloy was saying "tony, tony", Safina hears her and goes "No, Daddy, my Tony!" It was too funny! Then Malloy called me Mamma Katie, love it! The girls played so nicely. We decided to go to lunch at Anderson's and it was crazy! Total chaos today! After Safina's nap we headed out to Root Five for dinner with Sam and Laurel. We also got to see Papa and Grandma Kathy! Safina had a blast and was such a good girl. We had a great visit with everyone and some super yummy food!

Mommy had a photo-shoot this morning, and Daddy had to work. Safina did well hanging out in the living room while I did pictures. Then after her nap, Safina and Daddy headed to his Aunt's house to build Adirondack chairs and have dinner. Mommy joined her family and had a nice dinner that Gigi made!

Daddy had to work today, so Safina and I just hung out. We played with her dollies and doggies! She found her white toy doggy and has named it Molly (just like her real doggy friend Molly)! So cute!

We went to gymnastics today! There was a substitute instructor today, and a bunch of new kids, so things were nuts! The kids were running crazy! After class we stopped at Quiznos for dinner and then came home. Gigi made a surprise visit and got to play with Safina for a little bit! It made her day!

Mommy had a photo-shoot this morning which turned into a playdate! What a fun and chaotic morning. The kids had a blast! After Safina's nap we went roller blading and rode her bike! She loved it! Then we went for a walk! Enjoying the beautiful weather today!

Another photo-shoot this morning! Lots of fun! After Safina's nap we went to the grocery store, and were told by a ton of people how adorable Safina was! I even was asked if I would sell her! My answer of course was NO WAY! She's ours! ;)

Happy St. Patrick's Day! We had a playdate with some friends this morning. They were wild maniacs, but we had a blast! We let them decorate cookies for St. Patrick's Day, so they were laced with sugar! Later in the afternoon Safina and I hung out in the driveway and did everything we could to enjoy the beautiful day! We roller bladed, rode her bike, played ball, blew bubbles, played with chalk, and used her little push lawn mower! It was a busy day!

Circus! Yippee! Mommy took Daddy and Safina to the Circus today for their first time! Safina did great and loved the animal portions mostly. The tigers that jumped through hoops, the doggies that rode on the back of the pony, and her FAVORITE the elephants! She saw them setting up for it, and saw the large stools and she goes "mommy, elephant stand on stool!" I was like how did you know that! And of course they did! We didn't make it to the end, but we had a great time! Later on Gigi came to hangout with Safina while Mommy and Daddy joined some friends for dinner and fun at Dave and Busters! We had a great time, and we won lots of tickets! So we picked out a prize for Safina! A giant stuffed doggy that looks like Cosmo. So she calls him Big Cosmo!
Day 492: March 19, 2011
Mommy shot her first wedding today, and was terrified! It seemed to go pretty well, but I am not thrilled with my shots. It was kinda overwhelming and really intimidating. Plus the light kept changing, and I was just trying to keep up. I don't see myself doing any more weddings, this was a favor for a friend. It totally wiped me out and I came home and was a zombie! Thank God I thought ahead to put dinner in the crockpot!
Side note: our buddy Zeus has passed away. Poor little fishy! We haven't told/explained it to Safina yet.

Daddy's car is in the shop so we had to drive him to work today. Then we joined our friends William, Madelyn and Lena at the Boulevard Mall to play and ride the carousel! The kids had a blast!
Safina had gymnastics this afternoon, and had a blast, and was totally wired after! We ended up joining our friends for dinner at Anderson's and had a nice time. Then Uncle Andrew and Aunt Janet came over to play for a little bit (before we worked on their wedding invites!)! Safina had a blast playing soccer with them!

Took Daddy to work again today, then headed to the grocery store. Then hung out with our buddy Malloy! We picked daddy up from work and headed to Daddy's other work and hand a nice pizza dinner with friends while discussing a booth display for the business.

We got snow last night. Blech! So tired of winter! Safina and I stayed inside ALL day! Just snuggled up and played! Grandma B came over for dinner and hung out! We had a great visit and Safina told me as I put her to bed that she "had fun with grandma". She was so sweet and cute!

Another day hanging out at home, we are so done with the snow! Safina is such a chatterbox, and she has picked up a new saying: "Oops Daisy" She uses it all the time!

"black zeus" Since dear zeus has passed away, Safina has requested a black zeus. I am thinking she thought the old zeus was black, but he was a blue/red color. She reminds us often that we need to get a new zeus. So I guess we will be taking a visit to the pet store soon!

Safina spent the night at Nonnie's house last night, so she was hanging out with them most of the day. Mommy went to a yummy lunch with Joella and did a little shopping! While Daddy went to the Man Show with Brian. Safina came home late afternoon and we got ready for dinner at Pearl Street with Uncle Peter, Uncle Paul, Aunt Jamie, and Uncle Kyle, Aunt Sarah and Gigi! We had a blast, and Safina did AWESOME sitting for 2 hours! She is such a fabulous little girl!

Day 501: March 28, 2011
"I love my ________" That is Safina's new thing. She will say "I love my mom" "I love my daddy" "I love my kitty" "I love my toys", it is so sweet!
We also went to find a new Zeus today! She kept saying, "new Zeus, pretty Zeus". We also looked at all the other pets they had, and when we got to the turtles and lizards, she would point her finger and say "don't bite my finger". Where do they get this stuff!
Day 502: March 29, 2011
Photo-shoot this morning, they we just hung at the house while the carpenter guy fixed our side door. Later on, after dinner, Safina was harassing the cat and really got her mad. The kitty bit her lip really bad, and sliced it. She bled for a little bit, but then was ok. After 2 popsicles she felt better! Poor Safina. Let's hope she learned her lesson.
The only way I can get Safina to pose is when there are other kids here getting their pictures taken!

Yay! Fun playdate with friends this morning. The girls played pretty well today, but they are LOUD! We had a great time! Daddy had to work late today, so Safina and I met up with Gigi to run some errands and get some quick dinner at the pancake house! We had a blast, and she is such a great girl!

We were supposed to meet up with William and Madelyn today, but they were sick. So we spent the day with Daddy! Running errands and just hanging out! What a great day! Safina talks constantly, and is always reminding everyone that she is "Cena". She talks in the third person constantly. Do we try and correct this, or let it straighten out on its own. It is really cute, but can get annoying after the 100th time!
