October 28, 2009- Safina hasn't really been playing with her toys lately, but she is getting into everything else, and it is driving me nuts. So we gave her the kitchen (which was her xmas present). She loves this thing! She will play with it for hours at a time! It is really a present to me, since she is keeping busy and staying out of stuff! Why didn't we buy this sooner!
October 16, 2009- We have been so busy! Safina is a little ham! The other day (while we were driving) she was dozing off in her car seat, and I realized she was twirling her hair, which is what I did as a little girl... so that made me laugh and realize how much she really is like me! Another adorable thing she does is ride her rocking horse (which my dad made for me when I was a baby!). She can climb up on it and get off on her own. But the best is the face she makes while she is riding it, she LOVES it! She is also getting attached to this soft little doggy that I got her and she just loves this thing! She hugs and kisses it, and walks around "barking" when she is holding it or if you ask her where her doggy is! She is also twirling while she dances now, so cute! She is still our little peanut and has only gained 6 oz from her last doctors appointment that was 3 months ago. She is a very active and busy little girl! So much fun!
October 6, 2009- We got our new couch today, and it is awesome! Safina loves climbing up and down on it! She is starting to understand things better and follow some directions. We are working on putting our books and toys away, learning our body parts, among other things! She is starting to develop some separation anxiety and is throwing little fits when she doesn't get what she wants or can't get her books or toys out of the toy box. She is saying "up", and "belly", "eye", and when you show her a picture of a dog, or ask her what a dog says, she starts barking. We started our swimming again, and she is starting to relearn some of the skills. She LOVES to dance. First thing she does in the morning is run to the cd player and starts "dancing" telling you to turn on her music! It is too hilarious! We also went to the park today, and she was having so much fun watching the big kids and going down the slide with mommy and swinging! I can't believe how quickly she is growing and learning!
