Safina Month 13

August 31, 2009- Ok so long time without a post, so much going on. Safina is finally feeling loads better after the Roseola situation. Although she and I both got head colds a few days later... ugh! So we are just starting to feel better now. As for what is going on: we have almost finished the basement! I am making good progress on my knowledge of my camera and the studio situation, still need to practice though! We went shopping for a new couch. Not sure why we did this, but we also ended up buying one, kind of a weird purchase b/c we weren't really thinking about getting one, just hate the one we have... but we got this amazing lazy boy couch that is super duper comfortable... we can't wait for it to be delivered. I am also going to be watching a little girl who is Safina's age a few days a week starting this week, so I am busy cleaning and getting organized for that. Well it has been a very long day, and I am wiped... catch ya late! Oh I just remembered, Safina got her first hair cut the other day! So weird, my big girl looks all grown up!

August 15, 2009- Poor thing is still not feeling well. Not much we can do for her, she just won't eat, and is really not feeling well. She is just not herself, I hope this ends soon for her, I am so worried! She is spending the night at Gigi's maybe that will make her feel better! Mommy and Daddy got a night to themselves (well to fix the basement) but we did go out to dinner at the Restaurant, so yummy!

August 14, 2009- Thinking it is her teeth, not a virus, so trying to make her feel better, but she still isn't eating or drinking much. My poor miserable baby! We still had play group, but we probably should have cancelled it. Grandpa Dave stopped by for a bit to help with the basement and to play with Little Miss! We also got our carpet tile delivery for the basement! Can't wait till it is all done!

August 13, 2009- Little girl is not feeling well today. She is acting very strange, she isn't eating or drinking much, and whining A LOT! SO not like my baby! We went to the doctor in the afternoon and they said she may have a virus (forgot the name), and it may show in a little rash.

August 12, 2009- Today, Kyle, Sarah, Safina and I, went to Mom's work to surprise her with a cake! Boy was she surprised! We had a nice visit and a great lunch with her co-workers! Then we all got together for dinner at Kyle and Sarah's for a dinner celebration for Gigi!

August 11, 2009- Happy Birthday Mom (Gigi)!!! Crazy day for Gigi at work, so we are going to celebrate tomorrow! Although Safina and I snuck into Gigi's house and left lots of fun balloons and banners! We love you! We had "Aunt" Laurel and Molly over for dinner! What a nice visit, unfortunately poor little Safina was tired and went to bed before she could visit!

August 10, 2009- Relax day, such a crazy hectic weekend, but lots of fun! Safina and I went grocery shopping, and just hung out while catching up on laundry! Gigi was able to come over for a quick visit this evening, she missed her Safina!

August 9, 2009- Having an easy morning! Then off to visit Matt & Yo and see their new kitchen renovation! It looks amazing! We had a wonderful visit with them, and Safina loved playing in Shiloh's bed! Silly baby!

August 8, 2009- Yay! More visiting with Mike, Jen & Ryan, getting ready for little man's party! We had a great time today! Ryan loved his cake and looked like Elmo when he was finished (thanks to the red icing!). We had a chance to catch up with lots of old friends! Good times! we are exhausted, time to crash!

August 7, 2009- Off to Rochester this morning! We headed to Mike, Jen & Ryan's house for a visit all weekend! The daddies went to Bills Training Camp at SJFC and had tickets to the VIP tent and had an awesome time, while the mommies set up for Ryan's first birthday party!

August 6, 2009- Today we headed over to Ida and William's for a little play date, and to see if we could help them figure out the bedroom situation and decor for William and his new sibling due to arrive in December. We didn't make any great decisions, but definitely helped with some ideas!

August 5, 2009- Playdate at our house this morning! Had a great time. Then off to get new tires for the car in the afternoon, then dinner with the brother's and their girlfriends! Yay for fun nights with the family! Safina did pretty well, but she really wanted to get down and run around at dinner!

August 4, 2009- Mommy had a photo shoot for a newborn this morning, it went really well and baby Elijah was as sweet as can be! I spent the rest of the day just playing with the pictures and working on my photo website! Hopefully we can get the studio going soon, I am so excited!

August 3, 2009- Today we had lunch at Anderson's and Safina taught Ella how to use a fork! It was pretty cool! Then we headed over to the kiddie pool again, where Safina and Ella had a ball playing in the water!

August 2, 2009- Eric came over to help finish up the side door today. They got a lot done, and made a good mess! It is looking great, but they aren't quite done yet. Just a little bit more work! After they were done making a mess, I cleaned the house as quickly as possible and started dinner, b/c Annette, Dave and the kids were coming over along with Tony's Mom and her boyfriend Tino. We had a great visit with all of them, and enjoyed catching up. Afterwards, Joella came by and mommy got to do her workout! Boy am I pooped!

August 1, 2009- Daddy had to work this morning, so just us girls hanging out! Not too much going on, but we had lots of fun playing. Safina has started this new thing where she presses her lips together so it looks like she is blowing kisses then says "oooooohhhh", she does this over and over, and for everything. I think she is just really excited about it all. So cute! It was also a really nice day, and very warm. So we took Safina to the kiddie pool and played around there a bit!
