Safina's new phrase is "Go baby!"  She says it for everything, it is hilarious!  She is growing so fast and learning so much.  School has definitely made a difference in her knowledge and attitude (so far for the good).  She is such a smart little girl and I am totally impressed and how much and how fast she is learning things!

Emery is using sign language now and can tell us what she wants (for the most part).  She can sign "milk" and "more" and she can say "up"!  She also mimics Safina constantly.

Safina has been playing video games, and although she has some trouble, she is getting pretty good, and I think it is a great way for her to work on her hand/eye coordination.  We just have to limit it, b/c she wants to play all the time!

One of our favorite things to do is to play around on mommy and daddy's bed!  We get the best family cuddle time!  The girls love being goofy and bouncing around!

They are talking about the election in Safina's school, and they had a piece of paper with Obama and Mitt and the kids circle which one they want to vote for. Safina circled Obama, and when I asked her why, she said "because he has parties". I have no idea what she means or where that came from... LOL

from the mouth of babes: "Mommy, I don't want to go to school anymore. I already learned everything, I know all my letters!" Oh boy!

We did a mini shoot for christmas cards, but I didn't love any of the shots.

Happy Halloween!  We went trick or treating even though it was a little rainy.  Safina went as a Hula Girl and Emery was a little ghost!  We went to Uncle Andrew and Aunt Janet's neighborhood first, and then ended at Uncle Kyle and Aunt Sarah's house!  Emery started to get the hang of it, and when we went up to the houses she would make a sound like she was trying to say "trick or treat" it was so cute.  She also loved holding onto her bucket!  When we were done, Safina helped hand out the candy, until a scary costume came and she refused to give them candy.

Family fun at the pumpkin farm!  They were scared of Zoltar!  Goofing around at home!  Emery watching mommy and daddy work on the dining room.  Safina playing Just Dance!  Safina all dolled up for her first school picture day!  Tubby Time!

Mommy and Daddy got to go on an overnight get away! Yummy food, late night putt putt at this awesome dinosaur place!  Some arcade games (reliving our youth)! Niagara Falls and the wine trail!  We had a blast! Grandma stayed with the girls and they had a blast too! 

Safina went to a super hero birthday party, which was really cool!  Aunt Sarah had her bridal shower, with super yummy cupcakes! Making cinnamon ornaments.  Shopping at Lowe's and driving the "car"!

Cranky after naps, so we nibbled on some marshmallows!  Gigi stopped by on Emery's real birthday and gave her balloons!  She loved them!  Got a super awesome wedding invite in the mail!  Emery had her 1 year doctor appointment, a couple shots, but after some snuggles she was good.  We had the class pet Spot and went to the library.  Had our annual pumpkin party (but it was very low key this year).  Snuggling with daddy!

Mommy -Daughters Date Lunch!  We had a great time!  Uncle Kyle babysat, but Emery was being difficult, and passed out on him, I am sure he didn't mind!  Emery playing at the park, and LOVING it!  Brian and Denise's Wedding!  Safina dressed up for Halloween at school, followed by the halloween concert (sing a long).  Trick or Treating!

We painted our pumpkins instead of carving them this year.  I just wasn't up for the mess with Emery getting into everything.  So hopefully next year we can carve them!  Safina had a blast painting though!

Mommy had a photo shoot in the park today, and little Emery came along for the ride!  At the end, we did a mini session in the fall leaves!

Safina loves playing school!  She will teach all her animals, and will spend hours in bed (at nap time, when she should be sleeping) just playing school!  Although we are having some issues with her not wanting to go to school, because she says "I already learned my letters, I don't need to go" or "I know everything, I don't have to go to school".  She loves school, but for some reason she has days where she doesn't want to go.

Safina and I got to go on a date the other night, just the two of us.  It wasn't anything special, we just ran errands, but she loved the attention, and half way through (while holding my hand :swoon:) she says "I'm having a really nice time with you mom"!  Melted my heart right there on the spot!

Emery's First Birthday Party!  Today we celebrated the little princess's birthday!  What a fabulous party surrounded by her loved ones.  (Uncle Kyle and Aunt Sarah were kicking a 21 mile race in the butt, so they couldn't join us).
