"Show" :points at TV: "Show"
Safina loves her shows and asks to watch them now. Most mornings I let her watch one or two kid shows and I always ask her if she wants to watch her show. So now she runs to the TV and says "Show?". So adorable!
We ran a few errands earlier, then after her nap we went over to Gigi's to help arrange furniture a bit.

This morning we checked out a nursery school. Can you believe it! Nursery School! YIKES! Where does the time go? We met the current 2 year old classroom and followed them around to their various activities. Safina did great and I think she would really enjoy it. I also think it would be good discipline for her. So Tony and I are going to talk about it and possibly look at another one, just for comparison sake. But wow!

I love love LOVE getting hugs and kisses unprompted! She has just started doing this and it is the sweetest thing ever! This afternoon we headed out to Root Five to visit with Dad and Kathy and to have yummy dinner (Uncle Kyle joined us as well)! I was also there to take pictures for the website, unfortunately a table was seated where I needed to do the pictures, so I didn't get very many. But the restaurant was quiet and Safina loved running around and dancing on the dance floor! After that we had a really yummy dinner! It was so good! Safina ate SO much I can't even begin to describe it! We had a great visit and she even did great with Grandpa!

Cleaning day!
Daddy left tonight for a guys weekend, so he will be gone till Sunday, so it is just us girls!
Tonight I am having a small get together for some moms, we are making pillowcase dresses/shirts. I decided to make a shirt, and it is absolutely adorable! I think I need to make more of these! :)

bath time! I love bath time! My FAVORITE part is when she gets out and I wrap her in the towel and she curls up in my lap, head on my shoulder and just snuggles! She will just talk to me while I sit there snuggling up to my wet little baby, my eyes closed, just enjoying the sweet snuggle time! I love this! It usually lasts for a while too, which makes me cherish it even more! I love this sweet little girl so much!

S.A.T.U.R.D.A.Y! Hey!
Daddy is still gone :(! So we headed to playgroup this morning and had a wonderful time with our friends! After Safina's nap we headed to Gigi's where Safina was going to hangout and spend the night! Because it is GIRL'S NIGHT at our house! Wine and Dine! Lots of friends, food and yummy wine! And we have so much wine left over I will just have to have another party! We had such a great time and it was so nice to catch up with my friends! Thanks Ladies!

Day 117: March 7, 2010
::crickets chirping::
Do you hear that? SILENCE! I am waking up to absolute silence. No husband making noise, no baby yelling to get out of her crib! So nice and also so weird! So I had a quiet morning at home and was completely lazy! Then Miss Safina came home around noon and I put her down for a nap around 12:30. She then spent an hour talking to herself (instead of sleeping), all she kept saying is "bye bye"! She is too cute! Finally she took a nap and after she got up we headed off to our buddy William's 2nd Birthday party! WOW did we have SO MUCH FUN! There was a big play area with all kinds of things to climb on and crawl through, and slides, and ride on toys! She was in heaven! They also had Music with Mar which Safina loves! So it was a great time and I think she really enjoyed herself, and William looked like he had a wonderful time as well!
Daddy came home around 8pm and it was nice to have him home!
Day 118: March 8, 2010
Playgroup this morning with Gianna and Ella! Just the girls! We had a nice visit and the girls played so nicely together and kept giving kisses! Safina loves dancing and twirling around and jumping, and falling down! It is so adorable. We also sing "Row Row Row your boat, gently down the stream. If you see a crocodile, listen to him scream!" and then she screams. It is so funny! She does it every time!

Stuck at home without a car! I guess that's what legs are for! We went for a walk over to William's house then we went for a long walk with them. We had a yummy lunch then Safina and I walked home in time for her nap! Busy morning but so great to get outside and enjoy the fresh air.

Playgroup at our house today! Lots of fun!
Oh and she now tells me when she pooped. She will pat her bottom a couple times. That is the signal that she pooped! Such a silly girl!
Day 121: March 11, 2010
Playgroup at William, Madelyn and Ida's today! We decided to walk over (since daddy has the car). What a great day for a walk! On the way home Safina fell asleep in the stroller, she had so much fun with her friends!
Day 122: March 12, 2010
Daddy had today off, so Mommy got some time to herself today! I went to get my hair done! Highlights and a cut, and I feel great! I so needed this! After that I headed off to a photo shoot for a newborn! Love those itty bitty babies! Then that evening we all went to the Sabres game! Safina did great! She "watched" till about 9pm and then she fell asleep on me, which was great because we were able to stay till the end of the game instead of leaving early!

Daddy worked in the morning, Uncle Kyle came over to work on the logo/website. After Safina's nap we ran a bunch of errands and had a great time, then came home and crashed! After Safina went to bed we painted the furniture that I had primed last week. It looks awesome! I am so excited! It needed two coats so we were up kinda late doing that, but it is so cool!

Cleaning this morning. Safina and I had a fun morning. We had some of the Johnson family over for a pizza dinner and brownies! We had a great visit and hope everyone had a wonderful time as well! Good times!
Safina also acts out to the Five Little Monkeys! It is so adorable! She jumps, falls down, bumps her head (with her hand), and then shakes her finger at you... it is absolutely adorable!

Trouble!
When your 20 month old daughter knows how to use credit cards, you know you have created a monster! When we are in the store, she will hold the credit card and try and swipe it. I guess I should try not to shop as much ;)

We watched an adorable little girl this morning, and her name is Gianna! The girls had a great time, and played all morning. After a nap Safina and I went for a walk (without a stroller). She loves walking around outside, she even held my hand the whole time!

Happy St. Paddy's Day!

We had playgroup this morning at Gianna's house! We finally have the car, since Daddy's started this morning. Only problem is, he took my keys! Luckily our friends Erin and Ella picked us up and we were able to go to playgroup! The girls had a great time and made a cute St. Paddy's Day craft!
Safina is off to her Nonna and Papap's to spend the night! SO Mommy and Daddy had a nice dinner out, it was really fun to reconnect with my honey!

Daddy was home today! He was busy working on his charts, which is perfect b/c we had playgroup this morning at our house! Safina was in a strange mood all day, and wasn't really playing with her friends, and just being really whiny. After a rough nap (she barely slept) she woke up miserable! So it was a tough day for Safina. We went to dinner with Safina's Godparents, after seeing all the work they did to their house! It looks awesome! Dinner was yummy and we had a great visit! We also used the hot tub for the first time in months! So nice!
Day 130: March 20, 2010
Packing, Packing, Packing! Getting ready for our trip! We are so excited! After a busy morning cleaning and packing, we headed to daddy's work. Where two of our friends were getting examined. Then we had a late lunch and visit with them. Safina fell asleep in the car, so she slept on my shoulder for most of the lunch. We had a low key afternoon and then Mommy got a night out with some friends! Wow was that nice! Thanks Jamie!

Day 131: March 21, 2010
Baby Shower day for our friends Katie and Brian! What a great shower! Food was yummy, company was fun! Great time!
Afterwards we all headed to Gigi's house for a yummy dinner that was reminiscent of a backyard picnic! Hot dogs, awesome potato wedges, carrots, and salad! Then ice cream cones after! Safina LOVED her ice cream cone, what a mess! After that we headed home for a tubby and to bed, leaving in the morning!
Day 132: March 22, 2010
Off to Florida today! At the airport Safina enjoyed walking/riding on the moving sidewalk. It was so funny! While we were waiting for the plane, we just kept going back and forth on them. I was trying to wear her out, but I think she wore me out! We arrived in sunny Florida and picked up our rental car, then headed to Tony's dad's house. They were so gracious and we had a wonderful stay. We hung out and visited on Monday, and prepared ourselves for a crazy day at Disney on Tuesday!
Day 133: March 23, 2010
M.I.C.K.E.Y. M.O.U.S.E.
Off to Disney today! We started at Magic Kingdom! It was Tony and Safina's first time at Disney, so it was very exciting! We went through the castle, and rode the carousel, and Dumbo's Ride. Then we played in Roo's forest, which she loved being able to run around. Then over to toon-town, where we went through Mickey and Minnie's houses! Then just wandered around and grabbed some lunch. We were so impressed with the selections. There was lots of healthy stuff available. I had a yummy tuna fish sandwich, Tony had a salad with chicken and veggies, and Safina had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich with grapes and carrot sticks. It was uber delicious! After we purchased Safina her "ears" we headed over to Epcot. The goal was for her to fall asleep so that Tony and I could enjoy Epcot, but she didn't like that plan. So we just enjoyed the scenery and walked around. After that we headed over to Animal Kingdom, very disappointed. We couldn't figure out what we could do with a baby and stroller, and it was laid out very strangely. We then headed back to the car after a very grueling day! But we had a blast, and survived DISNEY!
Day 134: March 24, 2010
Tony was off to a baseball game with his dad, so Safina and I headed to Sea World on our own. This park was much quieter, and Safina was able to walk around a bit, which helped. She was getting sick of the stroller. She loved the dolphins! She kept running all along the windows screaming! She also loved the manta rays, where you can touch them. I couldn't get her close enough to touch, but she LOVED watching them! She was also a big fan of the giant fish tank with lots of little colorful fish! She managed to take a small nap for me (thank god). Mean while I found a cool play area for the little ones and when she woke up, I let her play in this giant sandbox, which I think she could have spent all day in! We then headed over to this kiddie water area, but it freaked her out, so that didn't last long. Then headed back to Tony's dad and then we all went out to dinner. Oh and Tony came home FRIED! He didn't put on any sunscreen... silly boy!
Day 135: March 25, 2010
SARASOTA or BUST!
Headed off to Sarasota this morning for the Johnson family festivities! We arrived at Mark and Tonya's (and Emma and Claire) around noon, and had a very yummy lunch, and a nice visit, before we headed off to where we were staying so that Safina could take a nap. {Oh I forgot to mention that she woke up at 1am and decided it was time to be up, so I spend the whole night laying on the floor with her trying to get her to sleep... I was EXHAUSTED!!!} After nap we headed back to Mark and Tonya's for dinner with most of the family. What a great time, and a wonderful meal! Safina loves playing with her cousins, and their doggy, Annie!
Day 136: March 26, 2010
Another wild night of little sleep... thank god Gigi was here to help! She is our savior! Had a slightly lazy morning, then headed over to the place Aunt Urs was staying and hung out at the beach and had a yummy lunch! Thankfully Safina took a nap while we were there, Gigi is amazing, she got her to sleep, Safina would never do that for me. After heading back to our place to clean up, we headed to a fabulous rehearsal dinner at Julie and Mike's house. Aunt Julie did such a great job and everything looked wonderful! Safina looked adorable, and she did really well. She was up till 10pm and was pleasant!
Day 137: March 27, 2010
Another beautiful day! Safina actually slept last night so we didn't get up till about 7:30am. THANK YOU! Then we went to the MOTE aquarium, which was really cool. I love cuttlefish. They are so cool! Safina loved watching the sharks swim by her in the huge Shark tank. We had lunch at the Salty Dog which was very cool, but hot, we were sitting in the sun. After we were done at the aquarium, we did a little shopping at St. Armands Circle, and got some ice cream, then headed back to get ready for the wedding. The wedding was at a country club, and it was simply beautiful! Loved the flowers, dresses, location,everything, it was very nice! Had a great time dancing with my hubby, cousin Molly, aunts and uncles!
I forgot to add a cute story about Safina after we picked her up at Mark and Tonya's. We get her in the car, and put her blanket on her lap. She looks at all of us, then throws the blanket over her head, and just sits there, as to say "you woke me up, now you are talking, I want to be sleeping, leave me alone!". So we all bust up laughing and she takes the cover off and has a huge grin on her face. Needless to say she didn't sleep much the rest of the night.
Day 138: March 28, 2010
Busy morning cleaning, packing and doing laundry (we like to leave the place we stay, just as neat and tidy as when we arrive). Then we headed over to Mark and Tonya's for a yummy brunch! We even made brownies to surprise Tonya for her birthday! It was a nice relaxing day hanging out on their patio. We really had to get going to get to Orlando, but we were having such a nice time just relaxing. We finally left around 4pm, and made a stop for some food around 5pm, and arrived in Orlando around 6:30pm. We were exhausted. So after a visit, we headed to bed, where Safina decided that she wasn't going to sleep past 1am. So Tony was a sweetheart and took her out in the living room so I could sleep.
Day 139: March 29, 2010
So after a long night, and good byes to Tony's dad and stepmom, we headed to the airport. First we had to drop off the rental car (which was off site from the airport). We left Orlando at 9am, and we were at the airport by 10:15. I was sure our flight was at 11:50am. Well it was actually at 11:00am, but delayed till 11:10am. So we were racing through the airport (and waiting in long lines). We did make it, but by the skin of our teeth, talk about panic!
Safina had a hard time on the flight back. I think mostly due to the fact that she was getting a cold. It was a really rough flight, but we managed to make it (hahaha like we had a choice). I think the guy next to us was going to kill us!
Spent the rest of the day, unpacking, and just getting back into routine. It is so nice to be home!
Day 140: March 30, 2010
Ok, laundry is in the wash! Suitcases are unpacked! Mail is sorted! Pictures are downloaded! So all we needed to do was go grocery shopping. So we headed off, stopping at Aldi's and Wegman's. Then just chilling. After Safina went to bed, Tony and I decided to paint the dining room table. So we sanded it down, and put the primer coat on! We also primed my old doll house from when I was little (my dad made it for me). I was scrapping wall paper off those walls forever! After a soak in the hot tub we headed to bed, man was I tired!
Day 141: March 31, 2010
PRODUCE ADVENTURE!!!
I know it seems silly but I have never purchased a whole pineapple. So while Safina and I were getting groceries yesterday, Aldi's was having a sale so I bought one. Thank you Ida for the instructions on how to cut it. Now we just have to wait for it to be ripe enough to cut! But I am very excited!
I also started the 30 day shred again, and Safina even did some of it with me this morning! It was so cute!
Tony and I also started painting the dinning room chairs tonight. We need them for Sunday, what are we thinking??? We also want to re-upholster them!
